We are thrilled to release HBO's THE RIGHTEOUS GEMSTONES Original Series Soundtrack Music by Joseph Stephens. The Righteous Gemstones is an American comedy television series created by Danny McBride (Vice Principals, East Bound and Down) that follows a famous yet dysfunctional family of televangelists. The series stars Danny McBride, John Goodman, Edi Patterson, and Adam Devine. The first season focuses on a blackmail plot orchestrated against Jesse Gemstone (McBride) by a trio of masked figures who threaten to expose videos of his debauched private life, hatched by Jesses's estranged son, Gideon. The show also follows the Gemstones and their opulent lifestyle as they expand their congregation and network of megachurches, while making enemies of the pastors of existing churches. The series music by multi-instrumentalist and composer/songwriter Joseph Stephens is a mix of dynamic and ethereal synth cues, original worship and praise songs, hilarious Christian Rock tracks, Satanic techno, and includes the mega-hit earworm "Misbehavin'". The Righteous Gemstones soundtrack album features 180 gram 2xLP White and Gold colored vinyl, deluxe packaging, a bonus 7" EP featuring both versions of "Misbehavin'" (1960's and 1989), new artwork by Sara Deck, a Baby Billy "Gemstone Prayer Center / Locust Grove" worship program, and a "Keep The Gemstones Out of Locust Grove!" flyer!
