U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-F is a scientific vessel available to Starfleet players in Star Trek Online. The Yorktown-class Star cruiser was a new configuration for the Odyssey-class chassis, the most advanced vessel of its kind – and a perfect fit for the USS Enterprise-F, the latest ship to bear the name Enterprise.
Refitted to the Yorktown configuration in 2410 following the Iconian War, the Enterprise-F was helmed by the Andorian Captain Va’Kel Shon, though the position was initially offered to Captain Data. Its dedication plaque, provided by Admiral Riker, reads, "Fate: Protects fools, children, and ships named Enterprise."
